GTA 6 Release Time in Pakistan: Every PlayStation Region
Grand Theft Auto VI releases on Thursday 19 November 2026. That is the date everywhere, but it is not the time everywhere — and in Pakistan the time you can actually press play depends on something most people have never had to think about.
The short answer
On PlayStation 5, GTA 6 unlocks at midnight local time in the country your PSN account is registered to. Pakistan has no PlayStation Store of its own, so your account is registered somewhere else — and that somewhere else decides your unlock time.
In Pakistan time, the whole world unlocks across nineteen hours, from 4:00 PM on Wednesday 18 November to 11:00 AM on Thursday 19 November.

Those are local midnights converted to Pakistan Standard Time, which is UTC+5 and does not observe daylight saving. New Zealand is on daylight time in November, which is why it lands eight hours ahead rather than seven.
Your console clock will not change it, and nor will a VPN
This trips people up every launch. The unlock is tied to the store region on the account, not to the time on the console, not to where you are sitting, and not to a VPN. Changing your system clock does nothing. Connecting through another country does nothing.
If you bought a boxed copy, the same rule applies — the box contains a download code, not a disc, and the code has to match the region of the account redeeming it.
Preload: a week earlier, same pattern
Preloading opens at local midnight on Thursday 12 November, one week before launch, following the same regional pattern. So whatever time your region unlocks the game, your preload opens at that time seven days earlier.
The install size has not been announced. Assume it is very large and clear the space well in advance, because starting a download that big on launch night is how you miss launch night.
What this means if you are in Lahore
Most people playing in Pakistan are on an account registered somewhere else — commonly the UK, the US or the UAE, because that is where the gift cards come from. Read your row above and you will see the problem: those are 5:00 AM, 10:00 AM and 1:00 AM respectively.
In other words, a lot of people in Lahore will be asleep when their region unlocks, and awake for hours before it.
Playing it at ARISE instead
Our consoles unlock in the earliest window there is. That puts GTA 6 on the floor at 4:00 PM PKT on Wednesday 18 November, subject to PlayStation Store timing — hours before most regions, and on the same afternoon rather than in the middle of the night.
Both PS5s run it from launch, each in its own private room with a door that shuts. From that day the lounge stays open 24/7 for GTA 6, so there is no closing time to work around. Everything else keeps the usual 12 PM to 2 AM.
