Gaming Zone Near Johar Town: Family PS5 Rooms
Johar Town has almost everything. Food streets open past midnight, two large universities, Emporium Mall, and more housing societies than anyone can name from memory.
What it does not have much of is somewhere to sit down and play PlayStation for an hour without owning one.
If you are in Johar Town searching for a gaming zone, the nearest PS5 lounge is ARISE, on College Road in Township — a short ride rather than a cross-city trip.
Why Johar Town people end up in Township
It is closer than it sounds. Township sits directly south of Johar Town and College Road runs right through it. From the Khayaban-e-Jinnah side, from Block G or H, or from anywhere near the UMT and UCP campuses, you are looking at ten to fifteen minutes depending on traffic — worth checking once on Maps at 7 PM on a weekday so you know your own number.
Compare that with the alternative. The larger gaming arcades in Lahore cluster toward the malls and DHA. Getting there from Johar Town on a Friday evening is a genuine commitment, and once you arrive you are playing in a room designed for volume, not for four people who wanted a quiet hour with a football game.
What makes a lounge different from an arcade
This distinction matters more than people expect.
An arcade is built around throughput. Bright lights, loud machines, short turns, someone waiting behind you. It is good fun for twenty minutes with kids.
A lounge is built around a session. You get your own screen and seating for the whole group. You can pause. You can talk. You can spend the first ten minutes arguing about team selection, which — let us be honest — is half the entertainment.
Straight answers about the setup
Consoles: PlayStation 5 only. No mixed platforms, no older hardware in the room.
Controllers: official DualSense pads, checked between slots for stick drift and battery.
Screens: big, at a proper viewing distance, set up for low input lag. At couch distance on a fast console game the things that actually ruin a session are a sticky controller, a hot room and a queue, none of which you will find here.
Two family rooms, one PS5 each, with bean bags, AC and an attached washroom — all at the ordinary rate, and that is the reason a lot of families make the drive.
Games — sixteen on the floor, and we take requests:
- Fighting — Tekken 8, Mortal Kombat 1
- Sports — EA SPORTS FC 26, Cricket 24
- Story-driven — God of War Ragnarök, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Detroit: Become Human, Death Stranding
- Open world — Grand Theft Auto V, Red Dead Redemption 2, Assassin’s Creed Mirage
- Party and co-op — Overcooked! All You Can Eat, Astro’s Playroom, Rayman Legends
- Something harder — Returnal, Resident Evil Village
What it costs
Hourly, by controller count. The right-hand column is what you pay today:
| Slot | Regular | Right now |
|---|---|---|
| Solo — one controller | Rs455 an hour | |
| Duo — two controllers | Rs770 an hour | |
| Quad — four controllers, one station | Rs1,330 an hour |
Quad is four controllers on the one PS5, so split four ways it is the cheapest way to play per person. No membership, no entry charge, no per-game cost, and we take every payment method except cards. Full breakdown, including how it compares with buying your own console, in our pricing guide.
When to come if you are driving from Johar Town
Weekday afternoons are the quiet window. If you are free between classes or between shifts, that is the easiest time to get a station without booking ahead.
Weekday evenings after 7 get busy — book earlier in the day. Weekends fill first, so message us a day ahead if you want a specific time.
The route is simple: Khayaban-e-Jinnah south toward Township, then across on College Road. Give your ride-hailing driver the Plus Code C7PR+XJJ rather than the plot number — it lands more accurately than the street address in most navigation apps. Parking is available on site.
Walk in from 12 PM to 2 AM, seven days a week. Outside those hours, call ahead and we will usually sort something out.
